One of most unique experiences you can have while in Buenos Aires is to dine at what's known as "puerta cerradas" (closed door restaurants). It is a restaurant that is actually located in someone's home. In a society where there isn't much space or privacy, it makes for a great way to spend time with someone and get to know them better. I am definitely putting this on my "MUST DO" list the very next time I am in the country and I know exactly who I would really like to take on this culinary adventure. Those of you who are die-hard fans of mine and read every word of every blog don't need to take a wild guess to who I have in mind to have this neat experience with.
